We
recognize the importance of students learning to set goals for
themselves, and looking to their future. During the month of
January, we planned lessons and activities for students to begin
exploring their own interests and many different careers.

Some
of the activities we participated in this week include:
-
Classroom guidance lessons to complete interest inventories
-
Dress to Impress- 5th grade students can dress for a job interview
-
Career Fair for 5th grade students to hear from community members
about their various careers
-
Visitors from parents and other community members who will speak
with each class in the school to share about their career.

THANK YOU to everyone who
participated in the Career Fair and volunteered as speakers for
individual classrooms!! Check back soon for pictures of our
activities!
