Red Ribbon Week 2009!

"Life is made up of choices, CHOOSE WISELY.

Stay drug free!"

We celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 24-27, 2011!  Red Ribbon Week is a nationally designated week for communities and schools to promote positive lifestyles for children through anti-drug education.  Thanks to everyone at Ridgewood and in the community for supporting the activities during this week!

This year the activities included:

  • Wearing Red Ribbons

  • Morning Trivia

  • "Bully Free Starts With Me" Presentation from the Mediation Center of NC

  • Sidewalk decorating

  • School-Wide pledge to be drug free

  • PORT presentations

  • Dress up days

Tuesday, 10/25:  "Shade out drugs!"- Wear your wild sunglasses

Wednesday, 10/26: "Sock it to drugs!"- Wear your craziest socks

Thursday, 10/27:  "Put on your thinking caps and say NO to drugs!"- Wear your favorite hat
